I am currently seeking a career position in the field of Computer Science and have graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree.  I believe that my background and skills can be an asset to your company.

I am a PC based IT professional/programmer, well versed in both hardware and software aspects of computer technology.  My programming background emphasizes C++(Microsoft and Borland versions), Visual Basic, Java, HTML, and JavaScript with some additional experience in C, Pascal, and Assembler.  In addition, I have completed and passed the first of the two required CompTIA A+ Certification exams, and I expect to take the second soon.  I am also in the process of preparing for the MCSE certification.

Since I am making a career change, my on the job experience is primarily in electronics and computer hardware and support, however, I can offer a history of long-term job stability and experience in working with others that the average recent graduate does not possess.  With a history in a technical field, I have developed excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills that will continue to serve me in my new career.  This and my ability to take charge of on the job situations are reflected in my enclosed resume.  I am also prepared to submit to you examples of my programming ability.
